Vincent "Vinny" Marcotrigiano is a former professional soccer player, teacher, coach, and author. He grew up on Long Island, NY, chasing the ball before he knew anything else about the game, and now lives and writes in Seaside Park, NJ.
For more than two decades he's shared his passion and knowledge of the game with kids at every level — recreation, travel, elite club, and D1 college. The book that became The Adventures of Little Marco was born at a magical convergence: his friends were having babies, his childhood dream of going pro had come true, and he'd just finished a deep dive into JK Rowling's Harry Potter series. The result was a way to put everything he'd learned into a kid's hands.
